Dollar Made Media Text Kane

Policies

Terms of service.

The deal between you and Dollar Made Media, in plain English. Paying a deposit, paying a Stripe link in full, or texting me to start work means you agree to it.

Effective October 30, 2026. Applies to work bought on or after that date.

1. Who this is between

"Dollar Made Media" is me, Kane Dollar, a web design studio based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "You" is the business or person buying the work. "The site" is whatever I agreed to build or fix for you.

These terms cover every website build, one-page website, fixed-price service, site care plan, and video edit sold on dollarmademedia.com, through a Stripe payment link, or by text and email.

2. What you are buying

The scope is what we agreed in writing before work started: the product page you paid from, or the text or email thread where we set it. Nothing outside that written scope is included.

  • One-page website, $597. One page, up to six content blocks, copy written from your Google and Facebook listings, your photos, a lead form that goes to your phone, a Google Maps embed, hosted free in your name. Extra pages are $150 each, up to two.
  • Business website, from $997. Multiple pages, scoped in writing before the deposit. Stores, booking systems, and multi-city builds are quoted flat before you pay anything.
  • Website fix, $347. One agreed problem on your existing site, fixed inside 48 hours of payment.
  • Google Business Profile setup, $297. Meta ad account setup, $347. Setup only, handed to you working. Running ads is a separate plan.
  • Oklahoma LLC reinstatement, $199 plus state fees. The state charges $25 per delinquent year and I pass that through at cost.
  • Site care, from $150 a month. Updates, content changes, and a watch on your hosting, as described in the plan you picked.
  • Video editing. $75 for the first edit, $150 per ad after that.

Anything you ask for outside the written scope gets a flat quote first. I never start billable extras without a yes from you.

3. Payment

  • Business websites: half to start, half when it goes live. On a $997 build that is $500 now and $497 at launch.
  • One-page websites, fixed-price services, and video edits: paid in full before work starts.
  • Site care plans: billed monthly in advance through Stripe, and they renew until you cancel.

Every payment runs through Stripe: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, Link, or US bank transfer. Prices are in US dollars. A bank transfer takes a few days to clear, and the clock starts when Stripe confirms the money landed.

The deposit reserves your build slot. The balance is due once you approve the finished build and before it goes live on your domain. The finished build waits on a preview link for 30 days. After that I archive it, and picking it back up later costs the same balance, no penalty.

4. Timeline

Standard one-page and business sites go live 3 days after two things happen: you approve the written scope, and I have your photos, text, and logins. Stores, booking systems, and multi-city builds take longer, and I give you the real date before you pay.

The clock pauses while I wait on you for content, approvals, or domain access. It restarts the day I have what I need.

The 3-day promise is about the build. Domain transfers, DNS changes, and Google indexing run on other companies' timelines, and I cannot speed those up.

5. Your content and your logins

You confirm you have the right to use every photo, logo, video, and piece of text you send me. If you have no photos, I can source licensed stock or work from your listings, and I tell you when I do.

I write the copy. You read it for anything wrong about your business before launch. Once you approve it, a mistake you did not catch is a revision, not a defect.

When you share a login (domain registrar, Google, Facebook, hosting), I use it only for the agreed work. Add me as a user instead of sharing a password whenever the platform allows it, and change any shared password when the work is done.

6. Going live and who owns what

The site goes live on your domain once the balance clears. Until then it lives on a preview link where you can watch every change.

After launch you own the finished site. The domain, the hosting account, the code, the content, and every login are in your name. Nothing is held hostage. If we stop working together, the site keeps running and you can hand it to anyone.

I keep the right to show the finished work in my portfolio, in social posts, and in sales conversations, and to name you as a client. If you would rather I did not, tell me in writing and I stop.

Tools, templates, and code I built before your project and reuse across clients stay mine. You get a permanent license to use them as part of your site.

7. Revisions

Every build includes three revision rounds. A round is one batch of changes you send together, by text or email. Small changes after launch are usually a text and a same-day fix. New sections, new pages, and new features get a flat quote.

8. The guarantee

If you do not love your site inside 14 days of launch, you get your money back and the site comes down. What counts as launch, how the refund is paid, and what is not refundable are spelled out in the refund policy, which is part of these terms.

9. Site care plans

Plans run month to month from $150. Cancel any time by text or email. The plan ends at the close of the month you already paid for, and nothing more is charged. Because hosting is in your name, your site stays up after you cancel.

10. Hosting and other companies' services

Your site is hosted on Cloudflare in your own account at $0 a month. Your domain is yours and renews at your registrar, about $12 a year.

Stripe, Google, Microsoft, Cloudflare, Web3Forms, and any booking or payment tool on your site are run by other companies under their own terms. I set them up and keep them working, but I am not responsible for their outages, price changes, or policy changes.

11. What I do not promise

I promise a fast, correct, well-built site and the Google setup that gives it the best shot. I do not promise a ranking, a number of leads, or a revenue figure. Mosaic Roofing's bid on an $800,000 home 24 hours after launch is a real result, not a guarantee of yours.

12. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent Oklahoma law allows, my total liability to you for anything connected to the work is capped at the amount you paid me for that work. I am not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages, including those caused by a third-party outage or by content you approved.

13. If something goes wrong

Text or email me first. Most problems get fixed the same day. If we cannot sort it out, these terms are governed by Oklahoma law and any dispute goes to the courts of Tulsa County, Oklahoma. Nothing here takes away a right your local law gives you that cannot be waived.

14. Changes to these terms

When I change these terms I post the new version here with a new date. The terms that were live when you paid are the ones that apply to that work.
