Privacy policy.
What I collect when you visit this site or hire me, why I collect it, and who else sees it. Short, because the list is short.
Effective October 30, 2026.
1. The short version
I collect what you send me and basic analytics about how the site is used. I use it to answer you, build what you bought, and see which pages work. I do not sell it, rent it, or put you on a marketing list.
2. What you send me
- The contact form: your name, a phone number or email, and your message.
- Texts, calls, and emails: whatever you send to (539) 370-5446 or [email protected].
- Checkout: when you pay through a Stripe link, Stripe asks for your name, email, phone, business name, your current website if you have one, and your payment details. I see all of it except your card number. Stripe shows me the card brand and the last four digits.
- Project files: photos, logos, text, and any logins you share for a build.
3. What the site collects on its own
- Google Analytics 4. Pages viewed, buttons clicked (for example "Text Kane" or a Stripe link), approximate city, device, and browser type. It uses cookies whose names start with _ga.
- Microsoft Clarity. Heatmaps and session replays that show how people scroll and tap. Clarity masks what you type by default. It uses cookies whose names start with _clck and _clsk, plus Microsoft cookies such as MUID.
- Cloudflare. The host logs each request (IP address, browser type, page) to serve the site and block attacks.
None of this is tied to your name. I look at it in aggregate to see which pages and buttons bring in leads.
4. How I use it
- To reply to you and to build, fix, or care for what you bought.
- To send receipts and invoices. Stripe emails receipts automatically.
- To see which pages and buttons work, so I keep what works and fix what does not.
- To keep the site and your account secure.
No marketing email list. No marketing text campaigns. Every text from my number is a person.
5. Who else sees it
Each of these handles one piece, under its own privacy policy:
- Stripe: payments, receipts, and invoices.
- Web3Forms, with FormSubmit as a backup: delivers the contact form to my inbox.
- Apple: hosts my email inbox.
- Google: Analytics, and Google Business Profile or Search Console when I set those up for you.
- Microsoft: Clarity.
- Cloudflare: hosting and DNS.
Nobody else, unless the law requires it or you ask me to, for example when you hand your site to a new developer.
7. How long I keep it
- Messages and project files: for as long as we work together, and afterward as business records. Ask and I delete what I can.
- Payment records: as long as tax law requires, usually seven years.
- Analytics: Google and Microsoft keep it under their default retention settings. I do not export it.
8. Your choices
Email [email protected] to see what I have about you, correct it, or have it deleted. I answer within a few business days. Deleting your information does not undo a payment record I have to keep for taxes.
If you are in California, the EU, or the UK, you have rights under your local privacy law, and that email is how you use them. I do not sell personal information.
9. Kids
This site and my services are for businesses. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
When this policy changes I post the new version here with a new date.
